Musical Sweets - Great Idea or Silly Idea?
This may be one of my greatest ideas EVER and my gosh don't I know it. I hope you guys agree, of course, haha!
Well, here goes nothing...
You know I have a slight obsession with music, both performing and writing, and then also a slight obsession with sweets. So, I had a moment of madness where I just threw the two together and thought it would be a fantastic idea to combine the two!
I'm not entirely sure how it would work but I do know that nothing like this exists at the moment.
I think a musical lollipop would be fabulous and, depending upon the flavour or brand of the lolly, there would be a different style or kind of music attached to it. Like, a yellow lollipop could be connected to the song "we all live in a yellow submarine" - how good would that be?

Retro Sweets or American Candy?
So, the big obstacle for me with this idea is the kind of sweets or candy I would use to put it together.
Do I go with the retro sweets and british classics that we all know and love in the UK? Or do I go with the infamous american candy and worldwide sensations that the UK and world have come to love over the years? Things like hershey's butter cups and root beer.
I'm not so sure. I think you'll agree that it's a pretty hard decision. Maybe I should be even crazier and more bold by also creating my own sweet / candy product to go along with my own musical creations - or is that a little too much? Probably a little too hasty, may be getting ahead of myself ever so slightly but there's no harm at all in having dreams and hopes for your future, but you've also got to be realistic.

Ideas Are Great - What Next?
Okay great, I have an idea - a wonderful one at that, but what happens next?
Do I take my idea to a large company and see if they're interested in helping me to create it and release it to the world? Or do I just bank on the hopes that my music career takes off and I gain the funds required to start up the business and release this sweetie product myself?
So many sugary questions, yet so few replies. I think I will sit on this idea for a couple of weeks and bounce it off a couple of my close friends and family so they can give me some honest feedback on their thoughts on the basic product idea, release potential and also try to gauge a scope for the marketing to see if people are actually out there and ready to buy something as crazy as this musical sweet is.
